You are quite entertained playing in and near the garden as I work to plant, water and weed. You have your own spade and your own pair of garden gloves. The gloves are obviously my oversized hand-me-downs, but you love them. You helped me plant the marigolds around the perimeter to deter the bugs and only popped the flowering heads off of two of them. You soaked yourself, but had a lot of fun helping me water all the new seedlings. You like to dig in the dirt, but have to be reminded every 12 seconds that the dirt needs to stay in the garden. You’ll take a wiggling worm out of my hand, but you want to relocate it quickly, and if it is wiggling too much, you get a little nervous and just fling it. So far we have these veggies in and our fingers crossed: potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, summer squash, cucumbers, garlic, basil, cantaloupe.
All in all, I’m really glad you like being out there as much as you do and almost as much as I do.
